ABOUT

This is Welcome Home.

Come and join our incredible team in the heart of the Kingdom of Kerry, on the Wild Atlantic Way, on the beautiful island of Ireland.  Known as The Kingdom, Kerry is the jewel in Ireland's crown.  With clean air, dramatic landscapes, water of all kinds, and our unique Kerry hospitality, we promise you will leave feeling rejuvenated and, we hope, with a very real sense of who you are.

We are all here, spending time on this incredible planet, but so often not even understanding or realising the potentiality of that.

With Welcome Home Retreats, we aim to invite you to see your life from a new angle and with a new perspective.

Through the pillars of yoga, meditation, breathwork and the environment, we support guests to ask and answer the 4 Soul Questions: Who am I?  What do I want?  What is my purpose?  What am I grateful for?  In this way we begin to see our true path and the life we are born to enjoy.

These carefully curated 4 night retreats offer an opportunity to discover and uncover who you really are.  As an exclusive retreat, we offer a limited number of places.  In this way, we aim to give each person taking part our time and our energy.  But equally importantly, to encourage those taking part to do the same for one another.

These unique and bespoke retreats are framed around yoga and activity in the outdoors, so we ask that those taking part have a level of proficiency in yoga, but also stress that you certainly do not need to be an expert.  As some activities include hillwalking and immersion in water, a moderate level of fitness is also required.

This is an all-inclusive retreat and we will have sole and exclusive use of a 5 star property.

He has extensive walking and hiking experience in Kerry, spending every weekend in its landscape.  He will share this knowledge and beauty when he brings Welcome Home guests out into that Kerry landscape.

Founder and Host

Catherine

Welcome to Welcome Home and thank you for taking the time to be here.

With over 20 years experience of hosting and welcoming people from all over the world to Kerry, I am delighted to now welcome you.

I discovered yoga in my early 20’s, but it wasn’t until my early 40’s that I really began my yoga journey.

As a mother through my 30’s I couldn’t give my practice as much time as I wanted and life pulled me in all directions. And so myself and my husband took our then 3 small boys on a 7 month world trip through the Pacific, changing our perspective on what we wanted from life - for ourselves and for our children.  We went on to have our daughter and when she was born, my relationship with yoga deepened.

Now in my 50’s my practice has never been stronger.

I know what it is as a woman to struggle with who I am.  Often we get lost in work and in motherhood - if that is for us.  I firmly believe that all experiences bring us ever closer to our true selves, but that we can’t always realise that.

Sometimes we need a dynamic to shift things for us.  Suddenly, that illumination allows us to hear and see our flow.  Like a beautiful yoga asana, our life comes into our control and our realm opens up.

I have set up Welcome Home Retreats to do precisely as the name implies.  At Welcome Home I want to look after you, to welcome you, to offer you experiences that will nurture and nourish you so that you leave with tools you can draw upon, and experiences which can be replicated in your own home, wherever that may be.  I want to help you uncover who you are and to reach your own, unique potential.  I want to provide an opportunity for that dynamic shift.

Come Home.

Welcome Home.
