FAQs

Here are some typical questions you may have when considering taking part in a Welcome Home Retreat...

Do I need to be good at yoga?

You do not need to be ‘good’ at yoga, but you do need to enjoy it!

Do I need to be fit?

This is a yoga and outdoors retreat, so you will need a moderate level of fitness.  Whilst you can always decide to not take part in an activity, it is best to give things a go, to try new things.  We can do hard things!

Can I drink alcohol?

Yes.  We are not prescriptive!  Some wine and drinks are included in the price, but if you want more you can buy it!  Be aware that the activities start early and continue all day!

What do I need to bring?

Please see our Welcome Home Retreat page for a full breakdown

Do I need to bring my yoga mat?

We will provide everyone with a lovely Yogi Bare mat for use whilst with us.  However, if you prefer your own, that is fine too!

What is included in the price?

Our Welcome Home Retreats are all inclusive - you simply need to get yourself to Kerry, we will take it from there!  Our retreats include accommodation, meals and all scheduled activities.  For further breakdown  please see, Welcome Home Retreat and Rates.

Can I come early/leave late?

Unfortunately our Welcome Home Retreat is a 4-night stay.  However, should you need to arrive earlier, we are happy to recommend places to stay.  Pop a message in our ‘Contact’ page.

How many people will be taking part?

We like to keep our retreats small so that we can give you the care we want you to have.  You can expect up to 12 other guests, but more likely there will be 10.

I am a vegetarian….

Just let us know of your dietary requirements, that’s fine!

How do I get there?

Kerry airport is wonderful!  It is small, unique and super friendly.  There are flights from Dublin, London, Manchester, Frankfurt, Alicante and Faro.  Check the airport for further details.  The nearest train or bus destinations are Killarney and Tralee.  We will make every effort to collect you from Kerry airport or bus/train stations, but this will be dependent on arrival times.

There are also airports in Cork and Shannon which are approximately 1.5 hour drive away.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

We have two rates on Welcome Home Retreats, in an effort to balance space with price.  If you select the higher rate, this is for your own double room en suite.  If you want to bring the price down slightly, you can get a friend to join you and share your room, again it will be a double en suite room.
